I know what makes LTX hard to get started with

4 walls that stop most people before they run their first LTX clip

You spend a whole weekend on ComfyUI and it keeps throwing a CUDA error

You download Python, fight with PATH, wrestle dependency versions for your 4090, everything works until the first Lightricks node — and then OOM again or missing nodes. You burn 8 hours on a configuration that takes 90 minutes once someone walks you through it step by step.

You have no idea whether your GPU can actually run LTX-2 in a reasonable time

You have an RTX 4070 12 GB, or you're stuck with a 3060, and you don't want to drop $1,500 on a 5090. But every forum has someone saying 'without 24 GB don't bother.' What you need is a concrete answer: how many seconds of clip, what resolution, what settings — for your hardware specifically.

Every LTX tutorial on YouTube is in English and skips the 'why' entirely

You watch 40-minute videos of someone clicking around ComfyUI with no explanation of the reasoning, try to reproduce it, and it doesn't work. There's nothing thorough enough to trust, so every decision is a guess.

Your LoRA comes out blurry or completely misses the client's face

You try to train a LoRA on product photos, get a model that 'remembers everything and nothing,' and the clips look worse than without it. You need a recipe: how many images, what tags, how many epochs, which hyperparameters are right for LTX-2 — not for Stable Diffusion from three years ago.

Why it is worth pushing through: LTX-2 gives you power you cannot buy from any cloud provider. No limits, no per-clip cost, complete privacy. But without a guide the installation and early prompting eat weeks, and most people quit. The course is designed so you get through those first 90 minutes carrying the weight of someone else's mistakes, not your own. See what the course includes →

What you will learn about LTX

7 LTX skills that will change your production workflow

  • 1
ComfyUI + LTX-2 setup from scratch in 90 minutes

Copy-paste commands, dependency list for Windows, Linux, and Mac, exact torch and CUDA versions, verification that everything is in place before you run your first clip. Screenshots for every step.

  • 2
    Zero per-clip cost, unlimited generations

After the GPU investment you can generate 200 ad variants overnight without watching a meter tick up. When a client asks for 12 hook alternatives, you deliver the same day — no mental arithmetic about whether the cloud bill will eat your margin.

  • 3
Full privacy — ready for regulated industries

Law firms, medical practices, fintech, public sector. Your footage never leaves your machine. Clients can sign an NDA without nervously asking 'whose server is this?' Sora and Veo can't offer that — LTX can.

  • 4
Uncensored output without cloud content filters

Sora and Veo decline clips that are perfectly legal but trigger their moderation systems (violent trailer scene, medical content, political context). LTX running locally has no such problem. The course shows where the law ends and cloud paranoia begins.

  • 5
Model customisation with LoRA — your style, your product

Train a LoRA on 30–60 photos of your product or a brand ambassador's face. 2–4 hours on an RTX 4090, finished file a few megabytes. Your client gets videos in a style that no competitor can replicate by downloading a shared prompt.

  • 6
Production-ready image-to-video workflow — from photo to clip in 3 minutes

Client sends you a product photo. You drop it into LTX-2 in ComfyUI, set camera motion, 3 minutes later you have a 5-second 1080p clip. Full ComfyUI graph to copy, plus 3 variants for e-commerce, beauty, and food.

  • 7
    Open-source freedom — no vendor lock-in

OpenAI changes limits, Google doubles Veo pricing, Kling restricts its API. With LTX you hold the model weights locally. It works in 5 years, works offline, works even if Lightricks closes. That's genuine independence, not marketing.

Course curriculum

6 modules, 168 pages — LTX is the free-at-scale alternative to the hero workflow

The hero workflow in this course is built on Sora 2 and Veo 3 (cloud, fast, excellent lip-sync). LTX enters as the third leg: for regulated industries, for cheap scale (200 variants a day without a bill), and for projects that need custom LoRA. LTX gets the most attention in Module 3 (tools comparison) and Module 5 (hybrid projects). You get the full course, not just a slice.

Module 1 — Your First AI Video in 15 Minutes

30 pages
  • Pipeline: 5 steps from idea to finished MP4, for cloud tools and for LTX locally
  • First LTX-2 generation right after installation — exactly the same settings as mine
  • Product avatar without a VPN and without the cloud: LTX instead of Sora

Module 2 — Ads and Content for Your Business

20 pages
  • LTX for regulated industries: law firms, medical, finance — where cloud AI is a no-go
  • Local ad workflow when the client budget is tight and you do not want cloud to eat your margin
  • Scale: 200 ad variants overnight from one GPU versus paying per clip in Sora

Module 3 — AI Tools: Which to Pick and When (LTX vs the Rest)

38 pages
  • Sora 2 vs Veo 3 vs Kling 3 vs Runway vs LTX — what each does best and at what cost per clip
  • ComfyUI + LTX-Video installation: complete list of pitfalls (CUDA, drivers, memory management)
  • LTX-Desktop for when you want results without touching ComfyUI, plus its limitations
  • Cheat sheet: 12 use cases — LTX is the right pick for 9 of them, cloud for 3
  • Training your own LoRA on a client product: zero cost, 2–4 hours on a 4090

Module 4 — Sound and Editing in CapCut

10 pages
  • LTX-2 can generate audio in the same pass — when to trust it and when to re-dub in CapCut
  • Karaoke captions for locally generated clips
  • Lossless export: 9:16, 1:1, 16:9, 4K from LTX 2.3

Module 5 — 4 Portfolio Projects (LTX completes the hero workflow)

38 pages
  • Project 1: Local ad, hybrid approach (Sora 2 for faces + LTX for 9 b-roll variants)
  • Project 2: Product reel with a custom LoRA trained on your product — 100% local
  • Project 3: B2B explainer (LTX + Veo 3) for a client with a no-cloud-AI policy
  • Project 4: Brand storytelling — 30-shot campaign in LTX with zero cloud bill

Module 6 — Publishing and Monetization

32 pages
  • TikTok / Reels / Shorts algorithms 2026 for AI video — same rules whether from LTX or cloud
  • AI Video freelancer rates: when LTX gives you 4x better margin than cloud
  • Selling to privacy-sensitive clients: law firms, medical practices, banks, public sector

LTX vs the cloud

LTX (local) vs Sora 2 vs Veo 3 vs Runway — 8 parameters

Data from our tests (50 standardised prompts × 5–7 generations each, LTX running on RTX 4090 24 GB). See our testing methodology.

Parameter LTX (local) Sora 2 Veo 3 Runway
Cost per clip $0 (after GPU) ~$0.30–0.80 ~$0.40–1.00 ~$0.50–1.20
Daily limits None Yes (Pro plan) Yes (credits) Yes (credits)
Data privacy 100% local OpenAI cloud Google cloud Runway cloud
LoRA / customisation Yes, train your own No No Partial
Entry barrier GPU 16–24 GB VRAM ~$8/mo ~$9/mo $15/mo
5-sec generation time ~3–8 min (4090) ~30–60 sec ~40–80 sec ~30–60 sec
Lip-sync quality Weak Good Best-in-class None
Course rating 8.4 / 10 9.2 / 10 9.0 / 10 8.5 / 10

LTX wins on cost per clip (zero after GPU investment), privacy, and no daily limits. It loses on generation speed and lip-sync quality. That is why the course teaches a hybrid approach: LTX for 70% of clips, Sora 2 / Veo 3 for scenes with dialogue and hyper-realistic faces. Full tool reviews: Sora 2, Veo 3, Runway, Kling. Full tool index: /narzedzia/.

What people who run LTX in production say

"After the course I set up LTX on my 4090 and now generate client clips without watching Sora's credit counter. My margin jumped from 30% to 80% — one project paid back the GPU."
KM Kamil M. Technical freelancer, AI video
"We had a no-cloud-AI policy for client data. Sora and Veo were out. LTX running locally solved the problem. We now generate 50 ad variants a day at zero marginal cost."
MK Michael K. Startup founder, marketing
"We train LoRAs on client products. Competitors copy prompts from TikTok; we have a custom model they cannot reproduce. First time I've had a real technical advantage."
TZ Tom Z. Creative agency, head of production

About the author

Łukasz Kowalski, AI Video Course Creator

I've been producing AI video professionally since 2023. I've been running LTX-2 on my own RTX 4090 since its launch — 30+ hybrid projects (LTX + cloud) and two custom LoRAs trained for e-commerce clients. Every model goes through 50 standardised prompts (see how we test). This chapter of the course grew from notes I was looking for in English when ComfyUI kept throwing CUDA errors at 2 AM — and couldn't find.

FAQ

Common questions about the LTX Video course

What GPU do I need to run LTX Video locally?
The minimum is 12 GB VRAM (e.g., RTX 3060), but generation will be slow and quality limited. Comfortable 1080p starts at 16 GB (RTX 4080). Full quality — including 1080p in a reasonable time and LoRA experiments — needs 24 GB VRAM (RTX 3090, RTX 4090, RTX 5090). Native 4K requires 48 GB (A100, H100, or dual-GPU). The course includes a table matching GPU model to expected generation time and recommended settings.
Does LTX work on a MacBook or without an NVIDIA card?
Officially LTX-Desktop only supports NVIDIA cards with CUDA. Apple Silicon (M2 / M3 / M4) works experimentally via MLX but runs much slower and lacks support for some features. AMD cards via ROCm are a community project — too risky for production work. The course includes a real benchmark comparing M3 Max vs RTX 4090, and explains when it still makes sense to fall back to the cloud.
How do I install ComfyUI and LTX-Video step by step?
The course has a dedicated chapter for the full installation: Python, CUDA, NVIDIA drivers, portable ComfyUI, plus an exact list of Lightricks/ComfyUI-LTXVideo nodes and where to place the model weights (safetensors). Copy the commands from the PDF and you have a working setup in 90 minutes. If anything breaks, I and the Discord community are there to help.
How does LTX quality compare to Sora 2 and Veo 3?
LTX-2 has 19B parameters and produces results close to Sora 2 on simple shots. It loses on face photorealism and lip-sync (Sora 2 and Veo 3 are stronger there). It wins on continuous generation length, privacy (nothing goes to OpenAI), and cost per clip (zero after your GPU investment). A full comparison across 7 parameters is in the section below and in Chapter 3 of the course.
Can I train my own LoRA with LTX?
Yes — and that is its biggest advantage over cloud models. The course shows you how to prepare a dataset (photos of your product, client face, or brand), run LoRA training on your own GPU, and connect the finished file to LTX-2 inside ComfyUI. Your client gets videos in a style no cloud model can replicate by downloading someone else's prompt.
Can I use LTX commercially and show the output to clients?
Yes. Lightricks releases LTX-Video under an open licence with commercial use rights (the course and Discord track changes to the terms when they occur). You can sell clips to clients, use them in paid ads, and include them in productions. This differs from Sora, where OpenAI's output policies can be restrictive for certain industries.
How do I write effective prompts for LTX Video?
LTX-2 understands English far better than other languages. The course teaches a hybrid workflow: you sketch the concept in your own language, but the production prompt stays in English following a set structure (subject, action, camera, lighting, style). You get a 48-page prompt bank with English descriptions for every scenario and guidance on how to fine-tune each for your specific industry.
If I have LTX running locally, do I still need Sora 2 or Veo 3?
It depends on the project. LTX covers about 70% of everyday work: b-roll, product animations, social content without faces, and material for regulated industries (legal, medical). Sora 2 and Veo 3 stay relevant for projects that need lip-sync and hyper-realistic faces. The course teaches you when to save on cloud spend and when fighting with a local setup just isn't worth it.
Can I get a refund if the course isn't right for me?
Yes — you have 14 days to withdraw under consumer protection law. The price is a one-time payment with no subscription and no hidden costs. After purchase you receive an email with three PDF files and a Discord invite within 1–2 minutes.
